Key responsibilities & impact
  • Join the EY GDS Data Engineering Team as a Cloud Senior Data Engineer
  • Develop cloud data ingestion and processing pipelines
  • Use cloud platforms and data engineering technologies to support project delivery
  • Apply BI tools and programming languages to build and process data solutions
  • Gather business requirements and present solutions
  • Debug and optimize solutions in support roles
  • Work with interdisciplinary and global EY Consulting teams across industries
  • Contribute to EY’s consulting services and help build a better working world

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 3 years of experience developing cloud data ingestion and processing pipelines
  • Experience using at least 2 of Microsoft Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, AWS, GCP, Snowflake, or Hadoop
  • Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or Qlik
  • Hands-on experience with Python, PySpark, Scala, JavaScript, and/or SQL
  • Familiarity with data modelling best practices for data engineers
  • Familiarity with CI/CD development using DevOps/Git
  • Familiarity with data architecture best practices involving NoSQL databases, RDBMS, or Databricks Unity Catalog
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex technical problems
  • Excellent debugging and optimization skills
  • Good communication and presentation skills for gathering business requirements and presenting solutions
  • Commercial acumen, technical experience, enthusiasm to learn, and consulting skills
