Key responsibilities & impact- Join the EY GDS Data Engineering Team as a Cloud Senior Data Engineer
- Develop cloud data ingestion and processing pipelines
- Use cloud platforms and data engineering technologies to support project delivery
- Apply BI tools and programming languages to build and process data solutions
- Gather business requirements and present solutions
- Debug and optimize solutions in support roles
- Work with interdisciplinary and global EY Consulting teams across industries
- Contribute to EY’s consulting services and help build a better working world
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 3 years of experience developing cloud data ingestion and processing pipelines
- Experience using at least 2 of Microsoft Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, AWS, GCP, Snowflake, or Hadoop
- Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or Qlik
- Hands-on experience with Python, PySpark, Scala, JavaScript, and/or SQL
- Familiarity with data modelling best practices for data engineers
- Familiarity with CI/CD development using DevOps/Git
- Familiarity with data architecture best practices involving NoSQL databases, RDBMS, or Databricks Unity Catalog
- Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex technical problems
- Excellent debugging and optimization skills
- Good communication and presentation skills for gathering business requirements and presenting solutions
- Commercial acumen, technical experience, enthusiasm to learn, and consulting skills
