Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for the setup, operation and maintenance of printers and server equipment
  • Work closely with the customer to meet deadlines and maintain efficiency in the printing
  • Part of a team of highly professional and skilled infrastructure technicians working 24*5 and on call weekends
  • Work within a complex global environment in collaboration with other technical teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Over 5+ years of relevant experience of working in an enterprise environment
  • Knowledge and experience with Active Directory, user/group/computer administration
  • Knowledge and experience of PowerShell and scripting (optional)
  • Knowledge within the Network area is a plus
  • Printer configuration and drivers
  • Influence user printing behavior – Optimize duplex and color printing
  • Drastically reduce paper/toner usage – Pull Printing and print rules
  • Strengthen IT print management – Centralize administration of users and devices
  • Establish confidential printing – Authentication and Pull Print
  • Simplify document handling – Print anywhere, scan and share documents
  • Central Administration of users, services and devices to optimize IT operations and support
  • Essential Tracking to continuously monitor print activity, pin-point problem areas up-front, fine tune and optimize even more
  • Access Control by adding Authentication to the printer to protect devices from unauthorized use of print, scan and fax functionalities
  • Knowledge on scan to email, scan to file options
  • Knowledge of various protocols such as SMB, SNMPv3
  • Knowledge of creating and implementing infrastructure certificates
  • Knowledge of SSL and TLS
  • Knowledge of Cloud infrastructures
  • Documented knowledge of the following Print infrastructure print products is merit: Kofax Equitrac, ShareScan, WJA, DCC (HP), LRS VPSx R3 and above, Microsoft Universal Print, Printix, Ricoh SLNX v3
