About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide operational and engineering support for corporate Single Sign-On and Identity and Access Management platforms
- Administer, configure, and maintain Ping Identity environments, focusing on PingFederate and, when applicable, PingAccess and PingOne
- Ensure the stability, availability, security, and performance of authentication and access control services
- Implement, maintain, and update configurations for applications integrated with the SSO environment
- Onboard new applications using standards and protocols such as SAML, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect
- Perform configuration changes related to authentication, authorization, identity federation, and access policies
- Investigate and resolve failures in authentication flows, SSO integrations, and Identity and Access Management services
- Analyze logs using Splunk or equivalent tools to diagnose incidents and identify improvement opportunities
- Participate in incident investigations and response efforts, contributing to root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions
- Execute health checks and monitor the availability, performance, and operational integrity of identity platforms
- Manage request and incident queues, ensuring proper logging, prioritization, follow-up, communication, and resolution
- Perform technical escalations and collaborate with engineers and specialists to resolve higher-complexity issues
- Work collaboratively with application, infrastructure, security, and operations teams to ensure reliable authentication and access services
- Keep technical procedures, operational documentation, and knowledge bases up to date
- Contribute to automation, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives for identity and access management services.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field
- Advanced English (B2 or higher), with the ability to communicate in an international environment
- Equivalent professional experience in identity and authentication technologies may also be considered
- Practical experience in Identity and Access Management, Single Sign-On, identity federation, and enterprise authentication platforms
- Experience administering and supporting PingFederate or other enterprise IAM and SSO platforms
- Strong knowledge of SAML, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect protocols
- Understanding of concepts and processes related to authentication, authorization, identity federation, and access management
- Experience onboarding applications and maintaining SSO integrations in corporate environments
- Experience troubleshooting authentication, authorization, federation, and application integration failures
- Experience supporting production environments and authentication platforms critical to the business
- Knowledge of Incident Management, Incident Response, Request Management, and Production Support processes
- Experience with log analysis and use of monitoring or observability tools
- Ability to manage incident and request queues, perform configuration changes, and escalate complex issues when necessary
- Autonomy, analytical skills, organization, and ease of collaborating with application, infrastructure, security, and engineering teams.
