About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist in preparing transition plans, schedules, and documentation
- Track readiness deliverables and ensure completion
- Support validation of: Deployment readiness (installation, configuration)
- Monitoring and alerting setup
- Backup, recovery, and failover readiness
- Ensure knowledge articles, SOPs, and training materials are prepared
- Follow up with application, infrastructure, and testing teams for readiness closure
- Track defects, risks, and action items
- Maintain transition documents: Runbooks, checklists, acceptance artifacts
- Prepare status reports, dashboards, and updates
- Assist during early life support phase
- Track incidents and ensure smooth stabilization
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5–8 years’ experience
- Basic understanding of: Application lifecycle & deployment
- IT infrastructure and support models
- Familiarity with: ITIL concepts
- Service transition frameworks
- Strong coordination, tracking, and documentation skills
- Good proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools
- Basic project management & organization
- Stakeholder management capability
- Analytical & problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Working knowledge of IT service management (ITIL basics preferred)
- Ability to work under pressure & manage priorities
- Collaborative mindset & teamwork
- Proactive and continuous improvement mindset
