About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide day to day Application Management support for SAP Applications across IT Service Management including service requests, incident management, enhancement requests, change management and problem management as Level 2 or 3 Application Management Specialist
  • Lead and mentor the cross functional and technical team fostering culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement
  • Lead and Coordinate the Resolution of Complex Technical issues and System Outages including root cause analysis and corrective action.
  • Provide senior level support for SAP Basis Activities including system administration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting across SAP landscapes.
  • Perform System Monitoring, Capacity Planning and Tuning to optimize system performance and ensure high availability and scalability.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, assess business needs and provide advice on SAP infrastructure/Basis solutions.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in related technology field (Computer, Engineering, Science, etc.) or comparable job experiences.
  • 7-10 years of working experience in SAP EWM Techno Functional consultant with focus on Level 3 support and Global operations
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner in a multi-region environment.
  • Experience working in a global setting with multi-regional teams, understanding cultural nuances and time zone differences.
  • Ability to manage cross functional and technical team, give them directions and drive technical discussions with various stake holders
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills with the ability to work effectively in a global, cross functional team environment.
  • Flexibility in managing work hours due to the volatile nature of Application Management work including ability to do shifts and being on call for critical business requirements
  • Understanding of SAP Functional modules and business processes with the ability to translate business requirements and issues into technical solutions
  • Deep understanding of ITIL and ITSM processes and methodology and how it interacts with the application lifecycle management principles
  • Proven track record of successfully driving solutions in a complex, multi-platform environment
  • Strong leadership and team building skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence
  • Strong client management, analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to think strategically and make data driven decisions.
  • Accountable for allocating personnel, supervising team members, assigning tasks, ensuring that the team has the necessary tools and support to succeed in their roles and optimizing and evaluating their performance to meet organizational goals.
