About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Create, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient big data processing pipelines within distributed computing environments.
- Design, develop, and implement interactive Power BI reports and dashboards tailored to the needs of different business units.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and design suitable data solutions.
- Execute data ingestion, processing, and transformation workflows to facilitate various analytical and machine learning applications.
- Keep updated with emerging technologies and best practices in data processing and analytics, integrating them into our data engineering methodologies.
- Possess expertise in data modelling, data warehousing principles, data governance best practices, and ETL processes.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong capabilities in documentation, presentation, and data storytelling.
- Have experience in utilizing and fine-tuning large language models (LLMs) and developing generative AI solutions.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Over 2 years of experience as a data analyst or data engineer.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Strong proficiency in SQL.
- Solid understanding of Azure data engineering tools, particularly Azure Data Factory.
- Familiarity with Python programming skills.
- Competent in using Azure Databricks.
- Expertise in Power BI and other Power Platform tools, including Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Knowledge of large language models and generative AI tools.
- Experience in a multi-cloud environment is advantageous.
