About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, develop, and configure Axiom ControllerView solutions aligned with regulatory and business requirements.
  • Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Support end-to-end implementation, including development, testing, deployment, and production rollout.
  • Diagnose, debug, and enhance Axiom code and configurations based on functional specifications.
  • Provide post-production support and resolve production incidents in a timely manner.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in Axiom development, performance optimization, and release management.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, driving quality and consistency across deliverables.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4-7 years of overall experience in the financial services industry.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Axiom ControllerView development.
  • Strong working knowledge of: Data Sources and Data Models.
  • Shorthands, Portfolios, Aggregations.
  • Freeform and Taxonomy reports.
  • Tabular Reporting, Workflow, and Sign-offs.
  • ASL (Axiom Scripting Language) and UDFs.
  • Strong functional understanding of US regulations (FR Y-9C, FR Y-14Q, FFIEC, 2052a) and/or APRA reporting.
  • Strong SQL and database performance tuning skills.
  • Experience with relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, Sybase or similar).
  • Familiarity with Axiom v10 architecture.
  • Working knowledge of Unix/Linux and shell scripting.
