About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver learning design and development projects on time, and to quality standards
- Develop a detailed project plan for each project, based on a standard template, identifying deliverable due dates and review cycles
- Manage ongoing status reporting, communicate projects risks, escalating as needed
- Obtain guidance from appropriate sources before forming conclusions on how to manage a given issue or opportunity
- Maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders including subject matter resources, other learning stakeholders, and third-party learning vendors
- Ensure adherence to operations and compliance processes
- Coordinate and monitor the work of vendor project managers, designers, and developers where applicable
- Facilitate regular project meetings
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Leverage best practices of project management from other team members
- Initiate and ensure the effective and timely publication of learning content by content administration
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in managing learning design and development projects, preferably at a global level and/or to a dispersed client base
- Demonstrable experience involving project management skills including management of vendors
- Demonstrable experience in managing learning and development projects
- Demonstrable experience using project management software, including Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrable experience of having built and maintained strong relationships with business customers/clients
- A bachelor’s degree and ideally higher professional or master’s qualification in a related discipline
