About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Recommend and implement tax strategies aligning with client objectives
- Correspond with legal counsel and tax authorities on client issues
- Assist with reorganizations and research compliance and planning issues
- Review personal, corporate, and trust tax returns
Requirements
What you’ll need- Undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting and/or other appropriate academic major
- 7+ years of relevant tax experience or equivalent experience in business or industry
- Possess a Canadian CPA designation
- Completed the CPA In-Depth Tax Courses (or equivalent)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Organization and time management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, professional services environment
