About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Recommend and implement tax strategies that align with client's objectives
- Correspond with legal counsel and tax authorities on client issues
- Assist with reorganizations, researching compliance and planning issues
- Review personal, corporate and trust tax returns
Requirements
What you’ll need- An undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting and/or other appropriate academic major
- 5+ years of relevant tax experience or equivalent experience in business or industry
- Possess a Canadian CPA designation
- Completed the CPA In-Depth Tax Courses (or equivalent) (Good to have)
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrate ability to work as part of a team
- Possess organization and time management skills
