About the role

  • End-to-end delivery of sourcing projects and provide excellence throughout the process analyzing information, delivering sourcing strategies, identifying requirements and opportunities, negotiating terms and conditions, and contracting products and/or services;
  • Act as a trusted business advisor to EY stakeholders, aligning procurement projects with the business’ pipeline and providing Exceptional Customer Services while delivering both brand and quantitative value to the bottom line through cost savings and cost avoidance.
  • Adherence to and incorporate EY Procurement policy and processes, including collaboration with Legal (GCO), Risk Management, IT, other Procurement categories as appropriate;
  • Continuously deliver procurement and category insights to key stakeholders and educate the procurement process to local EY staff and stakeholders as needed.
  • Develop strong relationships with key EY business stakeholders and report procurement progress via regular meetings.
  • Drive an inclusive and sustainable sourcing mindset to build a better working world;
  • Minimize contractual risks to EY and manage supplier relationships according to EY’s Procurement and Independence policies.
  • Achieve value targets, while developing new cost reduction strategies to improve negotiable spend via sourcing and demand management activities; including spend consolidation and supplier rationalization.
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting on deals and timely submission of savings forms.
  • Think creatively and provide innovative suggestions that will improve service delivery.

Requirements

  • At least 5-7 years of relevant experience from a large organization, either a partnership or multi-national corporation
  • Strong sourcing expertise and background in Technology Procurement.
  • Proven track record of leading procurement activities, including regional or global projects.
  • Proven experience in negotiating enterprise-level software contracts and renewals.
  • Ability to align efforts with key stakeholders and influence these leaders, as necessary, and possess a global mindset.
  • A Bachelor’s degree.
  • A follow on degree in commercial, business or procurement related discipline will be an asset.
  • CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) is a plus.
  • Fluent in business English and German.
