About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work on Bids, proposals, project reviews, solution blueprints, technical architecture solutioning etc.
Overseeing Oracle EBS database administration and OCI implementation, and identifying opportunities for performance, scalability, and availability improvements.
Accountable for ensuring database standards, cloud architecture guidelines, and operational processes are followed across on premise and OCI environments.
Manage a team of competent high performing DBA team and implement metrics, monitoring, and incident response processes as well as change management and capacity planning processes.
Perform and support end to end database and application migrations from on premises environments to OCI, guiding teams through design, execution, and stabilization.
Responsible for technical decision making, solution design, environment optimization, and supporting implementation activities for EBS and Oracle database workloads.

Requirements

What you’ll need

8-12 years of relevant experience in architecting, designing, implementing, and/or supporting highly distributed applications
Extensive experience working on at least one Public Cloud – Oracle/Azure/Google
Technical lead for engagements such as Proof of Concepts and Architectural Design Sessions to define and design a complete solution using best practices on Oracle Cloud
System administration experience (Linux, Solaris)
Additionally, good to have Certificated in Public Cloud – Oracle/AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Certified Architect Professional Technical
Expertise in architecting best technical solutions based on customer requirement
Experience giving presentations to executive audiences and explaining the benefits of the platform and service solution over competitors
