About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Building data platforms that enable clients and business partners to make efficient decisions.
  • Designing robust solutions on state-of-the-art data engines such as GCP, and modern data warehousing solutions BigQuery.
  • Solving complex business problems on a large scale.
  • Participating in cross-functional initiatives and collaborating across various domains.
  • Interacting with engineers, product/project managers, and partners from all over the world.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3 years of experience in Data Engineering area
  • 2 years of experience in Big Data using Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Proficient in SQL and/or Python
  • Background in data warehousing, data pipelines, distributed data processing, software engineering components and data modeling concepts
  • Analytical problem-solving skills for a big data environment
  • Strong experience in design techniques of relational databases and non-relational storage
  • Strong experience with Data Marts, Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, Data Mesh
  • Very good English (verbal and written)
  • Experience in using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.), DevOps and CI/CD principles
  • Ideally, French language at B1 level
  • Knowledge of data formats: Parquet, ORC, Avro, Deltalake/Apache Hudi/Iceberg
