Associate Director – Communications and Engagement
EYAssociate Director position in EY's Internal Communications team, driving strategic priorities and stakeholder engagement. Requires extensive experience in communications and a postgraduate degree.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the evolution of our internal communications infrastructure towards a more digital engagement model
- Understand the business and employee needs to utilize the right communications tools and channels for engagement, awareness, and collaboration
- Support strategy and delivery of high-quality communications, including drafting content, via a range of channels - including video, webcasts, newsletters, intranet, e-mail, digital design, and enterprise social media – working with CE colleagues
- Collaborate with Communications and Engagement Pillar clients – Global, Area, and Function CE leadership to understand their communications needs and expectations
- Assist global leaders in achieving the CE strategic objectives and transformation goals
- Build and maintain business relationships with regional and global stakeholders, providing communications support and advice on GDS capabilities
- Partner with communications heads to align internal communications with all relevant tools and processes
- Ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency across all internal and executive communications
- Contribute to the operational excellence of the Communications and Engagement Pillar through support in resourcing, capacity management, quality management, and efficiency goals
- Support innovation and process streamlining within the pillar, keeping clients’ requirements in mind
- Support a culture of agile ways of working
- Develop and maintain positive relationships and high levels of engagement with stakeholders
- Contribute to leading practices within the pillar and share knowledge with the team
- Support performance reviews and talent management processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Approximately 12-15 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills in communications and engagement
- Graduate degree – preferably in English literature, Mass communication, Journalism, or related fields
- Experience in advising senior stakeholders
- Business acumen to understand leadership strategy and translate it into deliverables
- Knowledge of global business fundamentals, competitive analysis, and cross-cultural sensitivities
- Proficiency in MS Office – Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Familiarity with Content CMS, communications analytics, video scripting, SharePoint, Viva Engage is desirable
