About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Building data solutions that enable clients and business partners to make efficient decisions.
  • Designing robust solutions on state-of-the-art compute engines like Databricks and modern data warehousing solutions like MS Fabric or Snowflake.
  • Solving complex business problems on a large scale.
  • Participating in cross-functional initiatives and collaborating across various domains.
  • Interacting with engineers, product/project managers, and partners from all over the world.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2 years of experience in Data Engineering area.
  • 1 year of experience in Big Data.
  • Familiarity with SQL and/or Python.
  • Hands-on experience in Cloud solutions, like Azure, AWS or GCP.
  • Understanding of databases, data warehouses, data lakes.
  • Strong background in building data pipelines, distributed data processing, software engineering components and data modeling concepts.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly those that apply to a big data environment.
  • Experience with version control system.
  • Experience in using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
  • Ideally, experience in Databricks and pySpark.
  • Object oriented programming experience.
