About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead consulting engagements focused on the planning and execution of Transactions initiatives
- Lead business development initiatives including service offering development and roll-out
- Stay informed of changing market conditions and new regulatory developments and their impacts on clients
- Manage the financial and commercial aspects of engagements
- Build strong internal relationships within our national and global FAAS practice and across EY’s service lines
Requirements
What you’ll need- Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA (US) or ACCA (UK)
- 10-13 years (post qualification) in Assurance including 5 years of Financial Accounting and Advisory experience
- Experience of working in a consulting role in financial accounting and advisory or transaction advisory
- Advanced skills and experience with: M&A support, SPAC transactions, IPO readiness support, Carve-out, GAAP conversions etc.
- Hands-on consulting experience at a Big 4, or top tier consulting firm, or leading change programmes in industry, or leading a line function in a finance or controllership environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to think critically and identify creative solutions outside of the box
- Leading and driving high-quality work products within expected timeframes and on budget
- Experience in leading and delivering program/projects that cover the full life cycle of assessment, design and implementation support
