About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide advice, counsel, and legal support in respect of technology products and platforms
  • Draft and negotiate client-facing product and platform agreements
  • Collaborate closely with US GCO and local counsel in EY member firms
  • Support internal product teams in development of new products and platforms
  • Build relationships and provide legal advice to internal product teams
  • Develop and deliver training on product and platform agreements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years of relevant technology-related transactional experience in a client-facing capacity
  • Strong background in supporting SaaS, software licenses, emerging technologies
  • Experience developing contracting templates, playbooks and standards
  • Experience in data privacy, data security, licensing, and intellectual property law
  • Experience with cross-border contracting
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
  • Membership in a State Bar as an attorney qualified to practice law
