About the role
- managing various responsibilities, from technical planning and advising of clients
- being a trusted advisor and role model for clients and colleagues
- personally coaching and developing a team
- researching tax issues to develop effective tax planning strategies
- translating complex data into client-ready insights
- building long-term relationships with clients
- communicating complex tax issues to non-tax professionals
- maintaining reputation in the field by updating and sharing knowledge

Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in a related field
- significant tax, business or financial planning experience
- A CPA certification or membership in The Bar
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in professional services or professional tax organization
- Experience with federal and state personal and trust taxation
- Experience with flow through entities (S-Corps, Partnerships, LLC’s)
- A thorough understanding of automated tax processing systems
- Experience with Gift, Estate and Trust tax planning and compliance is a plus.
- A commitment to continuing your learning
- Excellent collaboration and negotiation skills
- Willingness to travel as needed
