About the role
- Deliver EY’s actuarial transformation and premium acceleration service offerings
- Develop efficiencies throughout the practice
- Streamline the operational aspects of the group
- Lead engagement teams focused on Reserving, actuarial opinion and regulatory services
- Conduct Predictive Modeling and customer analytics
- Oversee Actuarial Transformation® and modeling
- Facilitate rate setting for all lines of business
- Manage financial forecasting and valuation
- Guide product development
- Mentor and develop junior team members
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, and/or other related majors
- Approximately 8+ years of experience in an actuarial-oriented position
- A minimum of 4 years of project or people management responsibility
- Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society required, Fellowship preferred
- At least 5 years of experience with Excel, SAS, VBA and/or C++
- Strong writing, presentation, conceptual, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Self-motivated
- Experience working in a team environment on project-based work
- Previous consulting experience or experience implementing new processes/procedures in a corporate environment preferred
- Experience with loss reserving software
- Experience with rating engines and platforms
- 4 years working with advanced analytics including knowledge of R, SQL, Python or similar programming languages
