About the role

  • Understand complex accounting and auditing concepts and apply them to client situations.
  • Adapt the audit methodology to the client's changing environment.
  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel and assess their satisfaction.
  • Supervise daily fieldwork, report work status to supervisors, and manage team performance.
  • Develop people through effective delegation of tasks and by providing guidance, feedback, and training on performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • Intermediate English proficiency.
  • Professional experience in external audit.
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
  • Project management skills.
  • Commitment to teamwork and leadership.
  • The following are a plus:
  • Active CRC registration (Brazilian Regional Accounting Council).
  • Knowledge of US GAAP, Brazilian GAAP (BR GAAP), IFRS, CVM and SEC regulations.
  • Knowledge of SOX (Sarbanes–Oxley).
