About the role

  • Assist large domestic and global financial institutions with IT Quality Transformation & Application Test Delivery challenges
  • Execute software system testing (manual and automatic testing)
  • Manage testing efforts within large transformation teams and programs
  • Work with clients to drive transformational change in application testing services
  • Define the test strategy, planning, and implementing quality assurance for complex projects
  • Guide team members fostering an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment
  • Share knowledge and develop engagement tools to build capability for practice
  • Evaluate and report on the quality assurance and testing process, making recommendations to improve software/system/design based on quality testing results
  • Provide expertise and make recommendations on test automation methodologies and documentation requirements
  • Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds
  • Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress
  • Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge
  • Maintain long-term client relationships and networks
  • Cultivate business development opportunities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Management Information Systems, Finance, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience
  • Alternatively, Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Management Information Systems, Finance, or a related field and 4 years of work experience
  • 4 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing, including at least 3 years managing testing teams
  • 1 year of experience in identifying, building, and managing, executive level relationships
  • 2 years of experience participating in the design and development of the test automation frameworks
  • 3 years of testing experience within the Financial services industry in Capital Markets, Wealth and Investment Management, Banking, Mortgage, Finance Risk and Compliance, and/or Insurance
  • 3 years of technical competency experience in Test Strategy & Operating Model Development, Testing Center of Excellence and/or IT Transformation Program Management, Test Automation Framework Architecture, Agile Test Management, User Acceptance Test Coordination, IT Organizational Change Management, Performance Testing Program Management, Customer Relationship Management, Enterprise Resource Planning, Enterprise Data Management, IT Life cycle Management, IT Delivery Management, and/or Executive Reporting
  • 2 years of test program or project management experience, including scope, timing, resource allocation and performance
  • 4 years of experience with test management tools including JIRA and/or HP ALM
  • Requires travel up to 80%, of which 10% may be international.
