About the role
- You will be supporting pursuits and be the point of contact for our Global Clients, to support for the design, implementation and governance of a globally consistent, standardised and centrally driven financial statement preparation process.
- Lead and manage a team responsible for delivering statutory reporting services, including but not limited to statutory financial statement preparation and GAAP Bridging
- Collaborate closely with clients, understand their challenges, and proactively identify opportunities to improve financial operations, add value, and contribute to their success.
Requirements
- Qualified Accountant (CA, CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- An ability to distil complex concepts into simple messages;
- Extensive accounting experience in finance operations or accounting roles, within a professional services firm with thorough knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills to effectively manage client engagements and lead a team.
- Analytical acumen with the ability to interpret complex financial data, provide strategic insights, and drive impactful solutions.
- Ideally, you’ll also have the skills and attributes below but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.
- GAAP bridging and Statutory Financial statement preparation experience;
- Understanding and experience working with various ERP reporting solutions;
- Experience working with Financial Statement preparation tools (eg. Caseware, Workiva, Thomson Reuters)
- Experience coaching and developing junior staff;
- Experience at an international level.
