About the role
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of complex accounting and auditing concepts and apply them to client situations
- Adapt audit methodology to the client’s changing environment
- Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel and assess their satisfaction
- Supervise day-to-day fieldwork, report progress to supervisors, and manage team performance
- Develop team members through effective delegation, coaching, feedback, and performance-related training
- Contribute ideas and opinions to audit teams and be open to the perspectives of other team members
- Understand EY’s service lines and actively encourage team members to contribute ideas and identify opportunities to apply the firm’s services
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Intermediate English proficiency
- Professional experience in external audit for financial institutions
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills
- Project management skills
- Commitment to teamwork and leadership
- Active CRC registration is a plus
- Desirable: knowledge of US GAAP, Brazilian GAAP (BR GAAP), IFRS, CVM and SEC requirements
- Desirable: experience with SOX
