About the role
- Support complex engagements and contribute to the growth of the GCR practice.
- Combine strong technical skills with practical commercial, legislative, and industry knowledge to assist in providing tax services.
- Help manage clients’ compliance and reporting needs.
- Establish, maintain, and strengthen valued internal and external relationships and ensure highest quality services delivered to clients.
- Assist in the day-to-day management of client engagements, monitor progress and deliverables, put in place necessary standardized processes, anticipate and identify risks, escalate issues as appropriate, and support performance-improvement solutions.
- Work with high-performing teams and contribute to a positive learning culture, supporting junior team members in their development.
- Responsible for ensuring adherence to Tax Quality guidelines.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree with strong academic credentials in accounting, business, finance, taxation, or any related essential fields.
- MBA, master’s or another related advanced degree and/or professional qualifications e.g. CA, CPA, ACCA, CTA, ADIT, or equivalent qualification.
- A very strong knowledge and minimum of 1-2 years of experience in domestic and international tax rules/regulations, developments, etc., ideally within a large professional services company or similar environment.
- A strong background in tax accounting and tax auditing, ideally within a large professional services company or similar environment.
- Ideally, you will also have experience of dealing with multinational clients and the ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
- In-depth commercial, legislative, and industry knowledge.
