About the role
- Manage and deliver finance process improvement projects end-to-end, ensuring timely delivery and achievement of project goals
- Manage relationships and communications with key stakeholders including finance teams, IT, vendors, and business units
- Drive process improvement initiatives across finance functions such as AP, AR, R2R, reporting, compliance, and controls
- Oversee the implementation of finance automation tools and system upgrades in collaboration with technology teams
- Develop project plans, monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
- Mentor and guide junior team members and consultants supporting process improvement efforts
- Prepare and present regular status reports, dashboards, and executive updates
- Ensure change management practices to promote seamless adoption of new processes and tools across the finance organization
Requirements
- Chartered Accountant (CA)
- 5-7 years of experience in finance process improvement and finance process management
- Proven experience in Finance process project management would be considered a plus
- Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to influence cross-functional teams
- Hands-on work experience in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and automation platforms
- Experience in EPM Solutions (Hyperion, Board, Anaplan, etc.)
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
