About the role

  • Manage a team of assurance professionals across a portfolio of projects
  • Personally engage with our clients
  • Help clients meet their reporting requirements by accurately reporting on financial statements
  • Provide meaningful insights into accounting and reporting matters
  • Develop effective, client-focused audit strategies
  • Proactively build relationships that support tailored services and new business development
  • Identify and react to potential risks and developing new ways to improve products and processes that promote growth and increase revenue
  • Continually update your understanding of business trends and emerging technologies

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in an accounting, finance or business
  • A minimum of five (5) years’ work experience as an auditor in a public accounting firm, ideally with experience serving clients in the insurance industry, which may include property and casualty, reinsurance, life, health, or captives
  • An internationally recognized professional accounting qualification, such as a CA, CPA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS
  • Engagement management, execution and reporting skills, and the ability to build relationships with clients with a diverse range of backgrounds
  • Confidence in your ability to prioritize when managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills and a collaborative approach to management
  • The flexibility to constantly learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of current market issues in the insurance sector
