About the role
- As part of our Business Consulting Finance team, you will support our clients in the financial sector with agile finance transformation and the optimization or transformation of financial management (forecasting, planning, controlling, consolidation, and reporting).
- You will develop end-to-end solutions ranging from strategic alignment of the business model to the functional design of finance processes and architecture, and their implementation in finance architecture and data management.
- Advise on the strategic positioning of the CFO area as a central steering partner in the overall bank — including development of KPI frameworks and performance reporting concepts.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of Target Operating Models (TOMs) to harmonize processes, system landscapes, and responsibilities.
- Analyze and realign end-to-end finance processes (planning, accounting, risk, reporting) with a focus on efficiency, automation, and regulatory future-readiness.
Requirements
- Degree in economics, business informatics, mathematics, or a comparable field with relevant focus areas.
- Ideally, initial to several years of experience in bank management/control, risk management, regulatory reporting, or regulation within the banking environment or in consulting.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory standards (e.g., Basel, CRR, IFRS 9) and an affinity for technologies.
- Very good communication skills in German (at least C1 level) and English.
