About the role

  • Develop AI Native designs in conjunction with product team
  • Support tool chain selection and technical assessments
  • Develop best practices for AI Native development design patterns
  • Provide guidance on how to evolve existing applications to best adopt useful AI functions and technology
  • Assess new proposed projects to insure they are leveraging best practices for AI architecture design and implementation
  • Collaborate with other architectural experts in AI, Security, Data and Infrastructure to insure balanced and practical outcomes
  • Support strategic business development activities for emerging technology

Requirements

  • 5-10+ years of experience in software engineering and architecture for products
  • Early-stage start-up experience in technical product development or equivalent innovation development in larger corporations
  • Use of AI native software development tools / code assist (Cursor, Claude Code, Qodo/Codium, Gemini, AWS Q, GitHub Co-pilot)
  • Strong proficiency with Linux and AI native container orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes realizing multitenant applications with cloud / bare metal DC portability
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash etc….) and software languages (Go, Rust, Java etc…)
  • Understand modern API (REST, gRPC, A2A, MCP etc…) design as it applies to agentic systems
  • Deep understanding of model fine tuning and customization through context management (RAG, SFT, LoRA/PEFT etc…)
  • Experience with modern software IDE, CI/CD pipeline, modern code hosting and collaboration (Github/Gitlab/Azure DevOps etc…)
  • Experience with Nvidia NVAIE and MSFT Azure AI stacks
  • Experience with large-scale cross functional software development projects
