About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide day-to-day Application Management support for SAP applications through service requests, incident management, enhancement requests, change management, and problem management as a Level 2 or 3 specialist.
  • Lead and coordinate resolution of complex technical issues and system outages, including root cause analysis and corrective action.
  • Design and implement SAP EWM solutions on S/4HANA to optimize warehouse operations and supply chain efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, assess business needs, and advise on SAP EWM solutions and designs.
  • Develop and maintain configuration documentation, user guides, and test scripts.
  • Mentor and train junior SAP EWM team members, sharing best practices and troubleshooting guidance.
  • Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and SAP best practices to drive automation and innovation.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and provide off-hours support to ensure critical SAP system availability and reliability.
  • Work shift hours according to client requirements.
  • Support global clients and collaborate with cross-functional teams in EY GDS TechOps.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in related technology field (Computer, Engineering, Science, etc.) or comparable job experiences.
  • 7+ Years of experience required in one or more areas within SAP Extended Warehouse Management, preferably with Global client.
  • Experience leading, mentoring, and managing a team of developers.
  • Proven experience in designing complex integrations, cloud applications, and security architectures.
  • Experience providing support for SAP EWM module incidents.
  • Experience analyzing incidents and providing solutions.
  • Experience handling change requests and understanding new business requirements.
  • Proficient in business process mapping, configuration, and end-user training.
  • Experience with cross-functional communication and offshore/onsite model.
  • Experience in defect resolution and defect analysis related to EWM.
  • Ability to work with minimal guidance or supervision in a time-critical environment.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
  • Flexibility to work shifts and be on call for critical business requirements.
  • Deep understanding of warehouse processes, including inbound and outbound logistics, stock management, storage bin strategies, warehouse task optimization, and SAP integration.
  • Understanding of Transportation Management (SAP TM).
  • Knowledge of Sourcing & Procurement processes.
  • SAP Certification in SAP EWM is listed as an additional qualification.
