About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Coordinate and manage a team of development resources in SAP Business Technology Platform using Neo and Cloud Foundry environments
Own end-to-end application delivery in collaboration with the Project Manager, QA resources, and Support Team
Lead, inspire, guide, and mentor consultants throughout complex project lifecycles
Serve as the primary point of contact for Employee Central projects from discovery through deployment and support
Manage consultants, assign tasks, and provide project guidance
Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and resource allocations
Facilitate stakeholder workshops and interviews to understand business requirements, HR processes, and reporting needs
Analyze and document client requirements, translating them into system specifications and design documents
Advise clients on best practices, change management, and system adoption
Design and configure SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central solutions, including organizational management, employee data, workflows, business rules, and security settings
Develop, deploy, and manage SAP BTP applications in Neo and Cloud Foundry
Build scalable enterprise applications using SAP CAP and Node.js/Java
Develop and optimize SAP HANA database models, stored procedures, views, analytics, and performance tuning
Integrate external data sources using SDI and SDA
Design and build SuccessFactors extensions using SAP BTP and SAP Cloud SDK
Integrate SuccessFactors with external systems through OData APIs and MDF
Implement security protocols and maintain SAP security best practices
Challenge and hold the Service Delivery team accountable
Operate within a matrix organization and balance service-line and firm priorities
Identify, manage, and resolve complex issues and project risks
Maintain relationships with EY ITSD, AMS, TCS AMS, business stakeholders, and customers
Create an open, honest, accountable, and collaborative team environment

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in Computer Science and/or a business-related degree; or equivalent work experience
10+ years of application services and/or client/supplier relationship management in a technology environment
5+ years of experience building application extensions in SAP BTP
Significant experience in a customer service role and business management role
Work experience in a professional services industry preferred
Application development on SAP BTP using Neo and Cloud Foundry
Experience with SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) and Node.js/Java
SAP HANA Cloud and SAP HANA 2.0 (XSC/XSA)
HANA Data Provisioning tools, including SDI and SDA
SAP SuccessFactors extension applications, SAP Cloud SDK, OData APIs, and SuccessFactors Metadata Framework
Business Rules Engine, Workflows, and UI5/Fiori applications
OAuth2, SAML, JWT, and other security protocols
SAP Fiori/UI5 and S/4HANA extensions
Relationship management with internal and external stakeholders
End-to-end understanding of IT lifecycle, including pipeline, resource, demand, project delivery, and financial management
Business analysis experience and basic understanding of data modelling
Good business acumen and ability to negotiate with business partners
Strong customer orientation and ability to manage customer expectations
Good executive presence
Ability to develop strategic plans and translate them into actionable roadmaps
Financial and people leadership skills
Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change
International travel may be required
Fluent English speaker
SAP HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, or SAP Certified Professional - Solution Architect certification good to have
