About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide reliable solutions to clients’ technology risks and vulnerabilities as part of the Cyber Threat and Vulnerability Management team
- Understand and contextualize clients’ cybersecurity threats
- Evaluate, enhance, and develop clients’ security operations
- Lead deployment of advanced security solutions, collaborating with Advanced Security Centers
- Manage and deliver multiple processes, projects, or solutions with a focus on quality and risk management
- Lead and motivate teams delivering security and IT risk solutions
- Mentor junior consultants and provide technical leadership
- Maintain current knowledge of IT and industry trends
- Build client relationships as a trusted advisor in implementing and managing security solutions
- Apply expertise in SIEM and SOAR technologies and ETL tools such as Cribl, Databahn, and Apache NiFi
- Apply complex information systems and AI technologies to identify engagement issues
- Use incident response processes and MITRE ATT&CK to improve threat detection and response
- Continuously enhance processes and identify innovative solutions through research and best practices
- Guide teams in resolving challenges and developing policies and procedures
- Engage with clients daily, lead sessions and workstreams, and identify additional service opportunities
- Manage engagement economics, resource plans, and budgets
- Monitor progress to consistently deliver quality client services
- Maintain long-term client relationships and networks
- Cultivate business development opportunities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Accounting, Finance or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate relevant work experience; alternatively, a Master’s degree in one of these fields and 4 years of relevant work experience
- 6-10 years of experience in information security, focused on SIEM and SOAR solutions
- Hands-on experience with at least one of Microsoft Sentinel, CrowdStrike NextGen SIEM, or Google Chronicle
- 3 years of consulting experience, including addressing client needs, developing proposals, and delivering presentations
- 2 years of experience with vulnerability assessments, privacy assessments, intrusion detection, incident response, security policy creation, enterprise security strategies, architectures, and governance
- 2 years of experience in networking, operating system fundamentals, and security technologies, including firewalls or IDS/IPS
- 2 years of experience leading process definition, workflow design, and process mapping, emphasizing SIEM/SOAR integration into business operations

- Willingness to travel 80% overall, including 90% domestic and 10% international travel
