About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, implement, and support secure, scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure across GCP and Azure
  • Design and build Cloud Landing Zones, including networking, identity foundations, governance, observability, security guardrails, and compliance
  • Develop, automate, and maintain Terraform Infrastructure as Code solutions
  • Build and operationalize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions
  • Implement cloud governance, security, and compliance controls
  • Implement observability and operational monitoring using Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, audit logging, dashboards, and alerting
  • Execute cloud migration and modernization initiatives, including application onboarding and migration stabilization
  • Perform post-migration validation and lifecycle management
  • Build, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines across on-premises and cloud environments using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or CloudBees
  • Develop automation with Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Groovy
  • Apply GitOps, configuration control, and policy-driven automation
  • Deploy, configure, and manage GKE/AKS container platforms
  • Support IT operations and platform reliability through monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution
  • Manage source control and versioning using Git, GitHub, and Azure DevOps
  • Collaborate with architects, application teams, cloud teams, and cybersecurity stakeholders
  • Contribute to peer reviews, documentation, runbooks, SOPs, and best practices
  • Make decisions, optimize processes, manage resources, and oversee team management as needed
  • Allocate personnel, supervise team members, assign tasks, provide tools and support, and evaluate performance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, and operating enterprise cloud platforms across Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure
  • Strong expertise in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, automation, and DevOps practices
  • Strong understanding of networking, compute, storage, IAM, and platform security
  • Proven experience in Cloud Landing Zone implementations across GCP and Azure
  • Strong experience with Terraform and Ansible, plus Python, PowerShell, or Bash scripting
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including AKS or GKE deployment and workload scaling
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools such as Google Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, or Dynatrace
  • Understanding of RBAC, least privilege, MFA/SSO, IAM policies, and audit readiness
  • Hands-on experience with cloud migration and modernization
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions
  • Strong Linux/Unix administration experience, including performance tuning, troubleshooting, filesystem management, and OS-level diagnostics
  • Preferred: Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification
  • Preferred: Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400)
  • Preferred: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
  • Preferred: HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate
  • Preferred: Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or equivalent
  • Familiarity with GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted development tools
