About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the strategic vision and roadmap for technical products within a specific business area
  • Lead technical product management activities for multiple technical products or one strategic technical product
  • Participate in the design and continuous improvement of technical solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create best practices that improve client experience
  • Coach technical product teams toward best practices and learning
  • Manage messaging, communication, and customer outreach
  • Partner with stakeholders to resolve production and implementation issues and support escalations
  • Lead planning, development, and implementation of new technical products
  • Define and analyze technical markets, product features, requirements, and implementation plans
  • Use qualitative and quantitative analysis to improve user experience
  • Contribute recommendations to business planning and departmental prioritization
  • Participate in engineering practices including development, continuous integration, and automated deployment
  • Manage the entire product life cycle from planning through execution
  • Research market conditions, consumer trends, and product enhancement opportunities
  • Gather business and customer feedback and translate it into product requirements
  • Prepare product documentation and support go-to-market activities with sales and marketing teams
  • Evaluate product effectiveness using market and performance feedback and steer future product direction

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in technical product management
  • At least 2 years leading large cross-functional teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field required
  • Knowledge of product lifecycle management, market analysis, product design, user experience evaluation, technical documentation, and cross-functional stakeholder collaboration
  • Technical knowledge of software development processes, APIs, cloud platforms, or data-driven product environments
  • Strong communication, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and project execution skills
  • Ability to balance technical feasibility with business viability and user desirability
  • Strong verbal and written communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and creativity
  • Comfortable interacting with senior executives within the firm and at clients
  • Preferred certifications include CSPO, Pragmatic Institute Product Management Certifications, or SAFe POPM
