About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Act as the single point of contact for designated Creative Services projects
  • Provide creative leadership to design teams delivering brochures, placemats, illustrations, layouts, infographics, on-screen presentations, proposals, microsites, motion graphic content and social media collateral
  • Produce strategically sound conceptual work through rapid prototyping and storyboard creation through post-production
  • Own creative and visual direction and design for creative collateral across multiple formats
  • Adhere to EY brand guidelines and meet or exceed expectations for aesthetics, quality, turnaround time, budget and efficiency
  • Stay current with design, web standards, concepts and industry trends and advocate them to team members and customers
  • Provide creative and art direction support and coordinate with team members to resolve issues
  • Identify opportunities to use pop culture trends, creativity, executional approaches and techniques to create exceptional user experiences
  • Communicate with customers, understand design briefs and share ideas
  • Lead customer project discussions with a customer-centric mindset
  • Provide innovative design solutions and persuade customers to make appropriate design choices
  • Mentor junior team members on design best practices
  • Prioritize deadlines and manage multiple creative projects in parallel
  • Contribute to organizational initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or college diploma, preferably in Graphic Design or a related discipline
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe DC, and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word and Excel)
  • Experience across digital, social, and integrated media
  • Knowledge of social platforms including Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and Pinterest
  • Strong visual design and creative thinking capability
  • At least 10 years of overall experience in a fast-paced global environment
  • Team management experience is mandatory
  • Working knowledge of infographics and data visualization techniques
  • Exceptional project, risk, and team management skills
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality output on time and within budget
  • Excellent comprehension, verbal, written, communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate and persuade
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Understanding of current and future visual trends
  • Preferable knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro and motion graphics skills
  • Experience leading and managing creative teams and developing junior creative talent
  • Experience working with global clients
  • Confidence, maturity and ability to build strong client relationships
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others
