About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Implement, configure, manage, and troubleshoot Active Directory and cloud infrastructure
  • Support and manage end-to-end aspects of Active Directory and Cloud services
  • Build infrastructure and deploy servers and configuration changes
  • Provide support, implementation, and design services for Microsoft Active Directory and Azure Active Directory across the enterprise
  • Manage directory and identity solutions
  • Resolve and complete assigned cases and change requests
  • Act as an escalation point for support issues
  • Drive infrastructure stability, security, disaster recovery, and monitoring
  • Remediate potential security vulnerabilities
  • Plan and implement production deployment activities and scope work in alignment with projects
  • Handle mission-critical production deployments and escalated production outage incidents
  • Execute security assessments of Active Directory and Azure using tools such as Microsoft OnDemand Assessment
  • Deliver Information Security projects and services with project managers, architects, security consultants, and other teams
  • Review infrastructure change implementation plans
  • Resolve service disruptions and problems
  • Work with vendors such as Microsoft, Dell, and HP on service issue escalations
  • Manage customer satisfaction through effective communication
  • Drive technology standards and consistency across IT Services
  • Automate processes and procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Fluent in English, written and verbal
  • Knowledge and understanding of Information Security, Identity & Access Management (IAM), Active Directory and Azure Active Directory technologies
  • Experience deploying or migrating IAM solutions, including Active Directory and Azure Active Directory, in production environments
  • Familiarity with AD migration/upgrade methods, AD performance, scalability, availability, and disaster recovery concepts
  • Ability to participate in L4 escalations in SME capability, provide sound reasoning, and conduct RCA during problem investigation meetings
  • Extensive experience in large-scale Azure cloud-based application solutions and integration with Cloud or on-premises products and custom solutions
  • Knowledge of automation and scripting languages such as PowerShell, Visual Basic, or Power Automate
  • Familiarity with Active Directory security hardening concepts, including tiered security, privileged access workstations (PAWs), administrative forests, and just-in-time access
  • Flexibility to work extra non-standard hours
  • Ability to work within a multidisciplinary, multicultural team structure and independently
  • Ability to meet deadlines with demonstrable productivity
  • Willingness to travel as required by project or team requirements
  • Desirable experience with SCCM, SCOM, RMAD, Splunk, ARS, Shielded VM/Hyper-V, ADLDS, or IPSec
  • ITIL Foundation Certification is listed
  • Ideally, certifications in Active Directory and cloud infrastructures and understanding of core Microsoft technologies
  • Experience with Quest Change Auditor, SCCM, Splunk, and Active Roles Server is a plus
