About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver solution or infrastructure development services for small to medium-sized projects
- Design, develop, and maintain solutions or infrastructure in compliance with relevant standards
- Work with users to capture requirements and peer review design specifications
- Engineer and automate platform solutions
- Evolve and apply DevSecOps methodologies, standards, and leading practices
- Reuse and expand shared platform technology assets
- Apply modern development, security, usability, and product-specific standards
- Ensure quality through manual and automated controls
- Provide training and support for platform/product operations
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
- Automate infrastructure provisioning
- Manage Azure resources, subscriptions, networking, storage, and compute services
- Collaborate with development teams on application deployment and release processes
- Implement source control and branching strategies using Git
- Monitor application and infrastructure performance
- Ensure security, compliance, and governance throughout the DevOps lifecycle
- Troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure, and performance issues
- Support containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS)
- Maintain technical documentation and promote DevOps best practices
- Provide operational support, early life support, root cause analysis, and remediation
- Build consensus and mediate compromises within DevSecOps teams
- Develop automation code and engineering standards
- Compare options and propose measurable tactical and strategic roadmaps
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure services
- Hands-on expertise with Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines, Azure Repos, and Azure Boards
- Experience in CI/CD implementation and automation
- Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, or Python
- Knowledge of Git and branching strategies
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep
- Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to learn new and emerging technologies
- AZ400 Certified Preferred
