About the role
- Serve as a strategic business partner to department leaders, helping them understand financial implications of their initiatives and providing actionable recommendations.
- Lead the development of monthly and quarterly financial forecasts, budgets, and long-range plans.
- Participate in cross-functional planning meetings and provide financial insights to support decision-making.
- Translate complex financial data into clear, concise insights for non-financial stakeholders.
- Develop dashboards and KPIs to track financial and operational performance.
- Prepare detailed monthly and quarterly financial reports and present findings to senior leadership.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and operational improvements across departments.
- Conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses to support strategic decisions.
- Continuously improve FP&A processes, tools, and systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis, preferably within a SaaS or tech company.
- Strong understanding of SaaS metrics and business models.
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with financial planning software (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, or similar) is a plus.
- Proficiency with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
