About the role
- Take ownership of the delivery/introduction of feature enhancements and new capabilities with focus on CPQ/BMI.
- Perform detail root cause analysis while working with other technical, functional, business groups experts and include pros and cons of each proposal along with the recommended solution.
- Write technical design documentation for business problems and provide short- and long-term solutions when needed. Draft test cases for the functionality configured/designed and identify and document technical gaps within existing solutions.
- Review and give architecture, performance, and code quality standards compliance for development on the Oracle CPQ/BigMachines platform.
- Support and triage customer issues, defects, enhancement requests and backlog items conducting any necessary technical research to help with estimating level of effort for prioritization.
- Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle including functional analysis, development of technical requirements, testing, deployment, and support.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience in successful Oracle CPQ project implementations or overall Industry experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, computer science or related fields (or 5+ yrs. of equivalent experience).
