About the role
- Drive the design, architecture, and end-to-end delivery of large-scale distributed systems and cloud network management solutions.
- Oversee analysis, programming, and debugging of software features and lead code and design reviews.
- Set technical direction and mentor junior and staff engineers to foster operational excellence and a culture of engineering rigor.
- Maintain the existing java based XIQ-SE Network Management project
- Correct customer found defects
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Typically requires 10+ years of relevant experience, with a focus on network management.
- Experience developing applications with SQL databases.
- Experience with J2EE or Jboss/Wildfly.
- Experience designing consumer-facing products.
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL.
- Proficiency in Java; extensive experience with Linux, and RESTful APIs.
- Deep understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, SNMP), data modeling (YANG, JSON), and RADIUS
