About the role
- Design detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Hands-on testing (UI, Usability, Functional and Integration).
- Experience of running the manual test tasks from the project start to finish.
- Reporting on progress in line with the processes and escalating issues and risks where appropriate.
- Identify, record, document, and track bugs.
- Collaborate with product team and developers to identify root cause of bugs and propose solutions.
- Help teams to troubleshoot issues.
- Conduct post-release/post-implementation checks.
- Create logs to document testing phases and issues.
- Support and improve quality in agile development environment.
- Develop, maintain and execute functional, regression, integration and end-to-end tests.
- Report bugs and issues to development teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in test/quality assurance engineering.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Experience in analyzing the requirements, creation, and execution of test cases and reporting of test results.
- Experience in BDD frameworks like Cucumber with Java.
- Experience with appium for Mobile automation test.
- Understanding of defect tracking tools such as Jira, etc.
