About the role
- Understand processes and identify optimization opportunities
- Develop applications and scripts for packaging workflows, product data management and production control
- Develop and document new creative automation solutions with a focus on the automated assembly of packaging designs based on customers' CI guidelines
- Develop plugins/extensions for Adobe Creative Cloud
- Work closely with the various graphic departments, quality management and customer service
- Integrate external systems via REST APIs and Webhooks
- Develop solutions to ensure and improve product data quality
Requirements
- Proficient in JavaScript and Python
- Initial experience with workflow automation, REST APIs, Webhooks and data processing
- Experience in web development (frontend and/or backend) — we are looking for versatile generalists with depth rather than narrow specialists
- Independent, structured working style and an interest in combining technology, design and production
- Ideally, experience developing plugins/extensions for Adobe Creative Cloud
- Ideally, industry knowledge in media design / prepress / print production / packaging
