About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead a team analyzing large-scale behavioral, transactional, and interaction data to uncover fraud and abuse signals
- Develop monitoring frameworks, dashboards, and mitigation solutions for emerging fraud threats
- Own AI agent performance tracking and optimization for Fraud Ops
- Partner with Machine Learning to translate fraud patterns into model feature recommendations and provide feedback on model scoring
- Develop metrics and provide regular reporting on operational efficiency and fraud savings
- Hire, mentor, and coach junior data analysts
- Perform design and code reviews
- Partner with leadership, fraud operations, product, and engineering teams to define and execute fraud strategies
- Champion continuous learning, experimentation, and collaboration across fraud and data science teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6+ years of experience in fraud analytics, ideally within e-commerce or retail
- 2+ years of experience mentoring and managing analytics teams
- Expertise in statistical analysis, data wrangling, and data storytelling
- Proficiency in SQL
- Experience with Python
- Strong people leadership skills
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence outcomes
- High attention to detail and intellectual curiosity
- Deep understanding of user behavior and fraud patterns
- Candidates must be located within the continental United States
