About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead a team analyzing large-scale behavioral, transactional, and interaction data to uncover fraud and abuse signals
  • Develop monitoring frameworks, dashboards, and mitigation solutions for emerging fraud threats
  • Own AI agent performance tracking and optimization for Fraud Ops
  • Partner with Machine Learning to translate fraud patterns into model feature recommendations and provide feedback on model scoring
  • Develop metrics and provide regular reporting on operational efficiency and fraud savings
  • Hire, mentor, and coach junior data analysts
  • Perform design and code reviews
  • Partner with leadership, fraud operations, product, and engineering teams to define and execute fraud strategies
  • Champion continuous learning, experimentation, and collaboration across fraud and data science teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 6+ years of experience in fraud analytics, ideally within e-commerce or retail
  • 2+ years of experience mentoring and managing analytics teams
  • Expertise in statistical analysis, data wrangling, and data storytelling
  • Proficiency in SQL
  • Experience with Python
  • Strong people leadership skills
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence outcomes
  • High attention to detail and intellectual curiosity
  • Deep understanding of user behavior and fraud patterns
  • Candidates must be located within the continental United States
