About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead a team analyzing large-scale behavioral, transactional, and interaction data to uncover fraud and abuse signals
Develop monitoring frameworks, dashboards, and mitigation solutions for emerging fraud threats
Own AI agent performance tracking and optimization for Fraud Ops
Partner with Machine Learning to translate fraud patterns into model feature recommendations and provide feedback on model scoring
Develop metrics and provide regular reporting on operational efficiency and fraud savings
Hire, mentor, and coach junior data analysts
Perform design and code reviews
Partner with leadership, fraud operations, product, and engineering teams to define and execute fraud strategies
Champion continuous learning, experimentation, and collaboration across fraud and data science teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

6+ years of experience in fraud analytics, ideally within e-commerce or retail
2+ years of experience mentoring and managing analytics teams
Expertise in statistical analysis, data wrangling, and data storytelling
Proficiency in SQL
Experience with Python
Strong people leadership skills
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work cross-functionally and influence outcomes
High attention to detail and intellectual curiosity
Deep understanding of user behavior and fraud patterns
Candidates must be located within the continental United States
