About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with executive leaders on organizational design, workforce and succession planning, and organizational effectiveness
  • Own and optimize people systems and processes using a data-driven lens, including AI and automation opportunities
  • Lead Extend’s internal communication calendar, strategies, and content for People programs and companywide initiatives
  • Lead performance management, talent reviews, compensation planning, and career development programs
  • Coach managers through employee relations, performance conversations, organizational change, and leadership challenges
  • Drive People initiatives improving engagement, learning and development, retention, and manager effectiveness
  • Develop scalable manager enablement programs, tools, and resources
  • Analyze People metrics and trends and recommend solutions
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives, including on- and off-sites
  • Maintain and audit People records and compliance documentation
  • Mentor People Team members and establish best practices
  • Support the team wherever needed in a small, collaborative environment

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in people-focused roles at high-growth technology companies
  • Strong HR Operations, HR Business Partner, or related experience
  • Demonstrated success working with, coaching, and influencing executives and senior leaders
  • Experience leading company-wide talent initiatives, including performance management, compensation, organizational design, and leadership development
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and influencing skills
  • Exceptional business judgment balancing employee advocacy with business needs
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and building programs from the ground up
  • Collaborative, low-ego approach with willingness to roll up sleeves
  • Resilience, flexibility, and ability to work quickly and effectively cross-functionally
  • Proficiency using HRIS systems for process improvement, data management, analytics, and automation opportunities
  • Must not require immigration-related sponsorship for this role
