About the role

  • Support supplier quality management assessments to ensure compliance with A220 program and regulatory quality requirements by conducting interviews and document reviews, ensuring complete records are available to our auditors.
  • Support evaluation requests for aerospace manufacturing processes (controlled processes) from suppliers to ensure they are "on time" and "on quality" (and "on cost" where applicable) to meet A220 program specifications.
  • Support evaluation of supplier quality performance and risk in collaboration with operational procurement.
  • Support monitoring and identification of supplier risks and collaborate with internal organizations to secure appropriate corrective actions.
  • Support analysis to ensure all A220 suppliers are monitored in accordance with regulatory requirements and identify and recommend continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Support identification and recommendation of continuous improvement opportunities at the organizational level.
  • Support planning of supplier control review activities to support the A220 program using corporate tools.
  • Apply and use corporate tools to manage activities related to overall supplier quality management.
  • Contribute to the overall transformation of the Purchase Quality department and be a proactive contributor in the development and implementation of digital business solutions.

Requirements

  • Experience in the aerospace industry and quality management systems.
  • Experience working with suppliers.
  • High level of proficiency with SAP software.
  • Project management experience (principles and tools).
  • Demonstrated leadership, autonomy, flexibility, integrity, objectivity, confidentiality and ethics.
  • Knowledge of Nadcap, AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards is an asset.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
  • Certificate or equivalent in quality or engineering in a field related to manufacturing (aerospace, mechanical, engineering, project management, etc.).
  • Bilingualism essential, both spoken and written.
  • Strong working knowledge of Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
