About the role

  • You'll be responsible for a range of activities within the Systems Lifecycle including :- Technical Leadership and Task Management
  • Design Evaluation
  • Requirements Management
  • Concept Design and Simulation
  • Statement of Work Generation and Supplier Liaison
  • Verification planning and management
  • You’ll have a proven track record of actively leading successful project delivery for electronic and digital, complex technology focused projects.

Requirements

  • A HNC / HND / FD or Bachelor's degree in an engineering subject
  • Engineering Management
  • Project Management understanding (Critical path control, Risk understanding)
  • Worked as an engineer on either Hardware, Software or Systems engineering.
  • Full knowledge of 'V' lifecycle
  • Leadership & Management
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Broad understanding of the Maritime Electronic Warfare and Combat Systems domain
  • Experience with the design and development of Electronics & Motors, Power Electronics, Digital Electronics
  • Delivery of electronic systems across the SE life cycle, including an understanding of the CADMID life cycle and its alignment with systems/product life cycles;
  • Requirements Engineering using DOORS
  • Understanding of the process of testing and integrating electronic and digital systems
