About the role

  • Create & validate 3D models using Catia V5.
  • Generate and handle electrical harness Installation and Drawings.
  • Understand Configuration Management related to Aircraft build process.
  • Navigate Product Structure and DMU with a clear understanding.
  • Knowledge of electronic and electrical components and their applications.
  • Utilize Mentor Graphics Capital Harness Suite for various tasks.
  • Handle PDM/VPM tools and link to CAD models in a context environment.
  • Apply knowledge of Electrical End to End process for Aerospace domain.
  • Experience with Harness pre-definition and Harness Topology or Morphology.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Catia V5 for the creation & validation of 3D models.
  • Generation & handling of electrical harness Installation and Drawings.
  • Basic understanding of Configuration Management w.r.t. Aircraft build process.
  • DMU understanding and navigation of Product Structure with clear understanding.
  • A working knowledge of electronic and electrical components including connectors, retention devices and sub-components and mechanical components and their applications.
  • Knowledge of one or more tools from the Mentor Graphics Capital Harness Suite (Capital harness, logic, library)
  • Experience in handling PDM/VPM tools and link to CAD models with design in a context environment.
  • Knowledge on the Electrical End to End process for the Aerospace domain is desirable.
  • Understanding of Harness pre-definition and experience on Harness Topology or Morphology would be desirable.
  • Awareness of Airbus processes & methods would be an added advantage.
