About the role

  • Provide operational support for Azure-based solutions, focusing on IaaS and PaaS services
  • Review technical and business requirements to design and implement cloud platforms and infrastructures
  • Collaborate with cloud teams on operational activities and take ownership of Azure-related technologies
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including Security, Network, and Service Management
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation for Azure services, procedures, and operations
  • Stay updated on Azure best practices, emerging technologies, and cloud trends

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of Azure service structure (enrolments, departments, accounts, subscriptions, resource groups)
  • Hands-on experience with Azure IaaS and PaaS services (Virtual Machines, App Services, Databases, Networking, Storage, Key Vaults)
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation (Terraform, PowerShell, Azure Automation)
  • Practical experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, Pipelines, Repos, Visual Studio Code) and understanding of DevSecOps principles
  • Hands-on experience with Kusto Query Language
  • Experience designing and deploying Azure Landing Zones including hub-and-spoke networks
  • Knowledge of cloud security including Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Azure Policies
  • Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop
  • Understanding of cloud architecture principles, including Design for Failure
  • Experience leading or contributing technically to Azure projects
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
