About the role
- Prepare and execute 1D and 3D fluid numerical meshes and analysis models
- Collaborate with engineering, design, laboratory, and mechanical workshop teams
- Identify and analyze technical requirements according to project specifications
- Identify missing information necessary for accurate numerical modeling and proactively obtain clarifications
- Analyze simulation results and provide recommendations on technical directions
- Participate in or coordinate experimental validation of proposed technical solutions
- Adjust numerical models as needed to improve methodology for future projects
Requirements
- Programming skills (Java, MATLAB, Python, VBA, ...)
- Commercial CFD simulation software experience such as Star-CCM+, PowerFLOW, FLUENT, or similar
- Master's degree or PhD in mechanical engineering with a focus on predictive fluid mechanics
- Relevant experience in the transportation sector
- Good understanding of the operation and construction of various mechanical systems in motor vehicles
- Strong knowledge of fluid mechanics, heat transfer, aerodynamics, and/or related fields
- Well organized, autonomous, and able to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
- Team player with a proactive and positive attitude
- Professional proficiency in French and English
