About the role
- Prepare and execute 1D and 3D fluid numerical meshes and analysis models
- Collaborate with engineering, design, laboratory and mechanical workshop teams
- Identify and analyze technical requirements according to project specifications
- Analyze simulation results and formulate technical recommendations
- Participate in or coordinate the experimental validation of proposed technical solutions
- Adapt numerical models to improve methodology for future projects
Requirements
- Programming knowledge (Java, MATLAB, Python, VBA, etc.)
- Commercial computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software such as Star-CCM+, PowerFLOW, FLUENT or similar
- Master's degree or PhD in mechanical engineering in a topic related to predictive fluid mechanics
- Relevant experience in the transportation sector
- Good knowledge of the operating principles and construction of various mechanical systems of a motor vehicle
- Excellent knowledge of fluid mechanics, heat transfer, aerodynamics and/or other related fields
- Strong organizational skills and autonomy, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a multidisciplinary environment
- Good knowledge of the work environment
- Advanced (spoken/written) proficiency in French and professional proficiency in English
