Provide oversight, quality assurance, and approvals for the Accounting team based in India
Lead the full month-end reporting cycle, ensuring accurate and timely close
Manage local forecasts and budgets for the UK entity
Complete uploads and sign-off for all Group Finance submissions
Control all SG&A cost lines and associated budgets
Lead and coordinate external audit requests
Approve bank payments and conduct cash flow forecasting
Perform detailed variance analysis across all general ledger lines

Requirements

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
Experience in financial controlling, senior accounting, or similar finance leadership role
Strong knowledge of monthly close processes, forecasting, budgeting, and audit cycles
Ability to analyse financial data, identify trends, and present insights to stakeholders
Comfortable collaborating with offshore or shared-service finance teams
Proficient in using ERP systems and financial reporting tools
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to meet tight deadlines
